When deploying apps to Stax, you are already running them on EC2 (under our Stax EC2 account). Are you looking to be able deploy apps to your own EC2 account using Stax? If so, we're running a private beta of that now and will be pushing it our for general use soon.

I will also be interested in this private beta. Can I get an invitation for that? Also, if you are deploying apps under stax EC2 account is it possible for us to access our deployments when stax.net is down for maintenance?

We're wrapping up final testing now and are planning to open up access to the new system for running apps and dbs on your servers as soon as next week. I'll contact you offline to see what you need and see if we can get you going sooner.
When stax.net is down for maintenance, it shouldn't affect your running apps unless apps need to be restarted, in which case each instance of your app is restarted separately, so redundantly configured apps shouldn't experience any downtime.
